Health
Looking after the health of their families is one of our clients' primary concerns. Whilst the UK provides free state aid in this area, we are all aware of the pressures that the National Health Service is under and with private treatment available, many clients decide to explore this alternative.
Private Medical Insurance
As of Q2 2007/8, there were over 600,000 people in the UK waiting for treatment on the NHS, and of these well over half had been waiting for over 4 weeks (source Department of Health). Private Medical Insurance plans will pay for access to private health treatment which can reduce waiting times and offer access to private consultants, wards and hospitals.
Private Dental Insurance
Similar to Private Medical Insurance, dental plans cover the cost of private dental treatment. Either this can be included as part of a wider health plan, or can be taken out as stand alone cover.
Long Term Care Plans
Long term care is needed when a person becomes ill or suffers a disability that makes them unable to carry out normal daily tasks, with the probability that this disability will continue over the long term. Typically this concerns the elderly and is due to increasing age or frailty, the aftermath of acute conditions (e.g. a stroke), or severe illness. Care can take many forms from simple domestic assistance through to full care in a specialist home.
On all types of health arrangements, whilst the NHS supplies basic treatment, often this is inadequate to clients' needs and therefore private arrangements are certainly worth considering. Plans can be tailored to meet your needs and your budget, meaning long-term peace of mind for you and your family. Click here to arrange an appointment with a consultant to discuss your needs.
